HUSEBY FARM IN TJØLLING, ÅKERSMAK FARM SHOP

Huseby farm in Tjølling is today a vegetable farm with a focus on soil health and regenerative, sustainable farming methods. Our farm has been continuously operated for several generations. Our area has good soil and a suitable climate for early production. Our specialty is summer cabbage and brassica crops. We sow our own small plants that we plant out in the fields in early spring. We can harvest the first outdoor vegetables as early as May. In our own farm sale, we offer a wide selection of our own seasonal vegetables, new potatoes and potatoes throughout the year. We also have some locally produced specialties in our small, self-service farm sale Åkersmak Huseby farm. On Fridays we have a pop-up bakery sale with freshly baked sourdough pastries!

Opening hours in the main season:

Monday-Friday: 11-18, Saturday 11-16, Sunday closed

A LITTLE ABOUT THE SPRING SEASON: We start at the beginning of June with new cabbage, later more home-grown salad vegetables and herbs. A larger selection later throughout the summer. The new potatoes (fresh potatoes) are normally ready around St. Hans time. Home-grown tomatoes and cucumbers grow in greenhouses in proper soil, and are a real treat in the summer with extra good taste. We pick the salad daily from our own field throughout the summer season. In August and September we harvest parsley root, leeks, beets, pumpkins, kale and cabbage as well as potatoes.

You are welcome!
