At Torheim Gard, nestled at the end of beautiful Hjelledalen in Stryn – the gateway to Western Norway from the east – we grow more than just vegetables. We cultivate flavors, diversity, and a living, breathing farm culture. With pure ingredients and a deep commitment to organic and regenerative principles, we create food that nourishes both body and soil. Here you'll find over 50 varieties of vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers, pasture-raised sheep that roam freely, outdoor pigs, and a range of handcrafted products made with care and respect for the raw materials. Our self-service farm shop offers everything from cured meats and fermented vegetables to apple juice and cider from our own orchards. Starting in 2026, we’ll welcome guests for cider tastings and events – a meeting place for nature, flavour, and true farm joy.

Torheim Gard is a small farm with a big heart. Here in Stryn, we run a diverse and sustainable farm with a focus on taste, quality, and care for nature. Our farm is built on organic and regenerative principles – we aim to leave the soil better than we found it.

Our two-acre market garden is home to over 50 types of vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers – all full of flavor and nutrients. We supply restaurants and cafés (HORECA), and many of our products are also available in our on-site self-service shop.

Our approach to animal husbandry reflects the same values. Our sheep are grass-fed with year-round outdoor access and spend summers on mountain pasture. Our pigs roam freely during the summer months. We process the meat ourselves and craft everything from Italian-inspired cured meats to specialty sausages and premium cuts.

We also preserve surplus from the garden – fermenting vegetables into sauerkraut and other live foods full of taste and tradition. From local apples we press juice, make cider and apple cider vinegar.

From 2026, we’re opening for cider tastings and venue rentals – and can’t wait to share the farm with even more people. At Torheim Gard, it’s all about honest quality – from soil to table, with love in every step.
