Ramme Gaard has defined itself as an eco-cultural gathering place. It incorporates a hotel; a farm; a farm shop - which sells vegetables; an organic cafe, a restaurant, an art gallery; events venue and last but not least, the Havlyst Park - unique in Norway and well worth a visit!

Ramme Gaard has great facilities for hosting functions and during the last few years many successful weddings, baptisms, confirmations, jubileums, meetings, conferences etc., have been arranged and held here.

The area around Raame offers the possibility of great walks on beautiful trails in the summer as well as in the winter. It also has the added attraction of access to a breath taking trail along the coast. Ramme is a well-known cultural institution with activity on a national as well as an international level. It hosts among other things, the Ramme culture Festival and the Rammerokk concerts. Gardening and farm market days are held in the early summer and in the autumn.

In the summer of 2021 Ramme plans to open its new hotel with 42 rooms with an underground gallery and museum. From 1910-1944 Edward Munch, the famous Norwegian artist, owned and lived in a house at Nedre Ramme. It is projected that the restoration of this house will be completed at the same time.
