With us you get to taste, see, feel, learn and experience what it really means that things take time to taste good. We let the farm and the area we are in be our guide – it is nature that determines what you get to taste and see when you visit us. You will experience where you are and what time of year it is. Each season has its own unique seasons and micro-seasons, each with its own ingredients and flavors. We combine old traditional techniques with modern methods to highlight these flavors. We are proud of the Northern Norwegian food culture, history, craftsmanship and art – all of this you can experience with us. Arrive at the farm in the early afternoon, join a tour, and see how we produce our ingredients. Afterwards, you can taste the results of the work we have done in the fields, in the barn, in the cellar and in the kitchen. Stay in one of our unique rooms and enjoy a breakfast made from ingredients that have been with us from seed to birth, all the way until you get to taste the result. This experience is included when you book accommodation with us.

Our philosophy is deeply rooted in the idea of sustainability, quality and being able to live and deliver in harmony with nature. We will follow one rhythm - that of nature. This means that the journey of a meal at Kvitnes does not begin when it is prepared in the kitchen. It takes years of preparation - from good compost, nutritious soil, the right feed, the right weather conditions and gentle harvesting and slaughter. Everything is interconnected, and if something is displaced, everything is displaced. At Kvitnes Farm, you'll find the peace, insight and flavors that awaken your protective instinct. The instinct that says nature is worth protecting. That's why we do this. Working at Kvitnes isn't a job, it's a vision we share. Everyone you meet, from the hosts to the farmer, restaurant manager, waiters and chefs, is passionate about you leaving as an ambassador for this unique pantry around us.
