A hearty welcome to the charming farm shop at Storeggen farm in Tynset! Nestled in our quaint old summer house on the courtyard, we're thrilled to offer you an array of beef products. With love and care, we handcraft sausages, beef patties, and burgers right here on the farm, along with selling exquisite cuts from our own cherished animals. The shop opens its doors every Friday from 3 to 6 PM, or by appointment. We hope to see you there!

Storeggen farm is idyllically and conveniently located on the upper side of the Glomma River, right by Riksvei 3, for many the preferred route between Oslo and Trondheim. From the farm, there is a wonderful view of the forest and mountains and the city of Tynset, which is just a few minutes away by car. We are a small family-run local food producer specializing in beef cattle of the Limousin breed. Our animals have ample access to fresh air and good mountain pasture in the summer, and are fed with roughage from the fields nearby the farm in the colder months. Two generations live and work on Storeggen. The farm has strong traditions and a 400 year long family history. We are the eleventh and twelfth generation on the farm.
