Fausko Skysstasjon (Coaching Inn) is the perfect venue: for the successful business trip, the memorable golden anniversary celebration, the old-fashioned rustic wedding. With years of experience hosting group events, Fausko can offer a wide range of solutions from self-catering to full board. Fausko combines history and tradition with modern conference facilities and a culinary experience rooted in local mountain food.
Fausko is a different kind of meeting place, with an atmosphere reflecting generation s of tradition in a modern age. Fausko started operations as a hotel and general store during the 1870s, serving for some years as a coaching inn for postal services and travellers between eastern and western Norway.
Comprehensiveness and authenticity characterize everything that takes place here. Fausko arranges food and culture evenings, independent of accommodation, as well as mountain walks, fishing, concerts and festivals.
Capacity 50 beds, 19 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, four kitchens. Dining in five atmospheric restaurants: Gildehallen (banqueting hall), Stabburet (storehouse), Årestugu (open hearth), Lavo (Sami tent), Stølen (mountain farm), Låven (barn). Outdoor facilities including grill, fireplace and hot tub. State of the art conference facilities. Additional accommodation can be booked in cabins on the neighbouring farm.
