In the midst of the forest in a clearing you can find some old and beautiful houses. They are called Villaen and Huka, bearing witness to a forestry community of the past. Then there's Skogheim, the forest workers' house. The men used to come here strolling with their axes over their shoulders at dusk, where the cook awaited them with dinner.

Though times have changed, the tranquility remains the same. The houses have been carefully renovated and provide charm and a cozy intimacy. We can offer 40 comfortable beds indoors and several sleeping spots outdoors in a lavvu or hammock.

One of the highlights for our guests is gathering around the campfire by Sæterlisjøen. Here, we have a lovely pier with a wood-fired sauna and hot tub. With us, you can experience nights without light pollution, under a magical starry sky. If you're lucky, you might even catch the Northern Lights in winter. When darkness falls, we illuminate the entire area with candles so you can enjoy the moon and the stars undisturbed.

We prioritize food that is homemade, sustainable, and of high quality. We are situated in the heart of the food bowl, surrounded by forests and farms. Locally sourced food with good, fresh ingredients from local producers and suppliers flavors our dishes throughout the year.

We offer activities suitable for everyone - regardless of age and fitness level.

Our focus is on organizing activities that foster camaraderie, teamwork, and lots of laughter. At the same time, we're happy to encourage light-hearted competition with a twinkle in the eye.
