Bortistu Gjestegard

Since the late 1800s, we have welcomed guests who have sought recreation and good food with us. Today, we are proud bearers of a 130-year-old tradition of warm hospitality and still welcome old and new guests to Bortistu.

The history of Bortistu started already in 1648 when the mountain farm was established at the head of Storlidalen in Trollheimen. Today we offer a traditional setting for courses and conferences, weddings, parties and cabin rentals. Always with the opportunity to enjoy our award-winning, self-produced local food.

We are suitable for groups between 10-70 people, but for weddings and larger parties we can have about 100 guests at the table. We go to great lengths to make every guest feel at home with us – whether you are visiting us for nature experiences or strategy meetings. Or why not both?
