Hesla Farm

Here you can stay in several different storehouses, an old Hallingstugu and other farm buildings from different time periods. The oldest storehouse is almost 400 years old. All the buildings and rooms are original but have been upgraded with modern facilities. In total, we have 25 beds in 11 accommodation units with fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms. The barn has been converted into a breakfast room for guests and in our farm shop we sell goods from local and national producers.

We focus on ecotourism, local experiences and reuse. The interior has been carefully selected to fit well with the time period the buildings are from and you will also find many old objects that have been given new life with us. Both Gol bus station and Gol train station are not far from the farm, so if you want to travel to us by train and bus, there are good opportunities for that.

The farm is only a few hundred meters from the center of Gol, which has a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as activities and events. We are very close to many nice hiking trails and ski slopes, and it is a short drive away from popular winter destinations such as Hemsedal and Geilo. The nearby Golsfjellet has a culturally rich landscape with good activity opportunities all year round, such as cycling, fishing and hiking in the summer, and great trails for both cross-country skiing and alpine skiing in the winter. Recently, a building by the Tisleifjorden, which belongs to the farm, was converted into a café that also offers the rental of bicycles, kayaks, boats and fishing equipment.
