Geiranger Sjokolade

I det vesle naustet, der robåten ein gong stod, kan du sjå rett inn i produksjonen medan sjokoladen blir laga. På gateplan finn du ein koseleg kafé og butikk med handlaga sjokolade, kremete iskrem, ferske kaker, sjokoladevaflar på pinne, kaffi og fyldig varm sjokolade.

Når vêret er fint, kan du setje deg på uteserveringa vår, ta ein pause og la smaken av Geiranger bli eit minne du tek med deg vidare.

The Swede Bengt Dahlberg founded in 2010 Geiranger Sjokolade and established a chocolate production in an old boat house located in the heart of the small beautiful Norwegian village Geiranger. Where one used to store the rowing boat is now where the magic happens and on street level you find our small shop and cosy café.

Our focus have since day one been on high quality hand made confectionary inspired by the breathtaking Norwegian fjords and majestic mountains surrounding us. We use as much local ingredients as possible, honey from the busy bees at Haavard Gard in Stranda is for example the sweetener we use in most of our confectionary.

Chocolate with a view is our slogan, referring to the scenic view tourist come to Geiranger for but also a point of view what one actually can put in chocolate.

We do things a little bit different and produce chocolate with for example browncheese, the amazing blue cheese Kraftkar from Tingvoll ost and beer from Kinn Brewery. Also use alot of nordic berries like cloudberries and lingonberries.

We are proud winner of several international chocolate awards over the years – with excellent ingredients we can make world class chocolate.
