Round trip on the Glommastien Trail

The Glommastien path lives up to its name and goes for long stretches right into the river, with piers, marinas, ferry berths and boat traffic. Although the lower Glomma is a densely built-up area, this walk has a surprising amount of nature to offer, with riverside vegetation, parkland, forest and cultural landscapes.

Trip: The Glommastien path lives up to its name and goes for long stretches right into the river,
with piers, marinas, ferry ports and boat traffic. Although the lower Glomma is a
densely built-up area, this trip has a surprising amount of nature to offer, with
river vegetation, parkland, forest and cultural landscape. Along the river there are also many
tracks and information boards that tell about previous industrial history. More
nice rest areas along the way.

Although the route passes through a number of intersections and changes direction and path several times,
It is not difficult to find your way, as the trail is marked with separate signs for Glommastien.
