Regional leaders' meeting at Landbrukets Hus
HANEN brought together regional leaders and elected representatives for two eventful days at Landbrukets Hus in Oslo on November 20–21. The goal was to strengthen cooperation, share experiences and continue working on common areas of focus for 2025.
The meeting started with a short presentation of the program before lunch in the Farmers' Association canteen. The general manager gave a status of HANEN, with an emphasis on team building and an active community. Communications advisor Knut Skeie Solberg then took us through how strong teams are built in practice, and shared experiences from both sports and organizational life.

Board member Eli Grete Høyvik presented the status of the ongoing strategy work. There were many good suggestions from the participants. The group then went out to visit members. First to Haneborg farm in Drøbak, and later to Bergvang farm in Asker for cider tasting and dinner in a lavvo. It was a nice evening with a good atmosphere. Warm clothes were a good idea.

Friday started with a session on how we can engage members even better and strengthen the work of the regions. Pål K. Medhus shared experiences from Buskerud, before we went through the regional team manual and application template for regional funds.
After this, the participants worked in groups on three topics: how to strengthen the regions, the further strategy work and visibility related to the new websites. Finally, we recorded short interviews from each region about why it is valuable to be a member of HANENThese will be used in future communications.
The gathering was rounded off with lunch and a good sense of common direction. We thank everyone who participated, contributed and shared experiences. This gives us a good foundation for the year ahead.
