Welcome to Westerås Gard in Geiranger!
Westerås Gard is located in Vesterås, 4 km from the center of Geiranger. The farm has both rental cabins, apartments and a restaurant in the barn that is open from May to September. From the farm you have a spectacular view of the mountains and fjord. The farm is also a great starting point for short and long hikes in the mountains, including to the famous Storseterfossen waterfall, which you can walk behind. Parking for the farm's guests.

The farm has been in the family since at least 1603 and is one of three farms in Geiranger that are still in operation. We have goats, sheep and some llamas. We are proud that in 2015 we received the cultural landscape award for Møre og Romsdal. We are located under the West Norwegian Fjord Landscape, which in 2005 was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List due to the nature in the area. We are open from May to September. At the barn you can enjoy lunch, dinner or light refreshments. You can also buy local products such as jam, juice, sheepskin and goatskin. Let yourself be inspired by the fantastic nature, views and unique experiences in Vesterås.
