Welcome to Villsaugården
Villsaugården is the place for families with children, groups of friends and adult couples on a trip. We would like to share the nature, experiences and stories with you. Villsaugården leaves its mark. At the edge of the ocean, but deep in the soul

Restaurant and farm shop

You will find us in the restored barn at Villsaugården on Steinsøyneset, right out in the open sea at Sør-Smøla. We have wild sheep on the farm, and the wild sheep are the main ingredient in our products. The wild sheep go out and eat coastal heather all year round, which gives the meat a completely unique taste.

With us you can buy exclusive cured sausages, fantastic fenalår and perhaps the best pinnekjøtt in Norway, all made from local wild sheep from Smøla. We also sell a number of other local food products from Smøla and Nordmøre, including the world's best cheese, "Kraftkar", from Tingvollost.

In the farm shop you can buy soft, warm wild sheep skins, exciting ceramics and local crafts. In the old hay loft you will find our restaurant. The food at Villsaugården is based on local traditions. On the menu we have products from our own production, such as wild sheep sausages and fenalår. We have dispensing rights for beer and wine. See more information about the menu and opening hours at villsaugaarden.no.

Accommodation

At Villsaugården we have three all-inclusive cabins of a very high standard, and you can wake up 20 meters from the seashore at Smøla. Outside, otters and hedgehogs stroll. In the bay by the cabin you can take a morning dip or evening swim, or fish for sea trout and crabs. Right outside there are fantastic fishing spots available. It is possible to rent a boat and take a trip out into the sea.

Children can feed the lambs. Linen, towels, cleaning, firewood, fire pan and grill are included.

Welcome to views, sea air and sunsets in one of Norway's finest places!
