Velure Gard Sideri is located in Velure in Ullensvang, the beautiful fjord arm in the Hardanger region and is part of the heart of fruit growing in Norway. At Velure you can witness crazy forces of nature, avalanches and snow falling down the mountainside until well into the summer. The cluster garden at Velure has stood safely for centuries and the large oak at Velure can testify to that.

The apple orchards on Velure are steep and idyllic. Here in Sørfjorden we have a perfect climate for fruit growing and a long tradition of cider production.
At Velure, we treat our raw materials in the best possible way so that you get the best experience through our products.

Velure Gard produces 2 different types of cider; I Skorfeste Discovery bubbles and I Skorfeste Rein Aroma.

The farm store sells cider and apple juice and is open Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

When autumn approaches and the family gets together, we pick apples. We press the most delicious apple juice and fill the tanks. We eagerly await the time that will come and let the cider ferment slowly at a reduced temperature.

The cider is checked frequently, that way we find the best balance between sweetness and acidity.
