Tuftegarden

At our farm hotel we have 2 double rooms, a family room, a twin room with bunk beds and 2 single rooms. We also have a house with 6 beds which is more like a cabin with a living room, kitchen and dining room in addition to 2 bedrooms. By arrangement it is possible to order breakfast and pizza baked in our wood-fired stone oven. We can prepare our wood-fired hot tub on request, which gives you the opportunity for a lovely relaxing soak.

In the summer season, all the animals are out grazing around the farm. This is also the season to hike the beautiful Waterfall Trail that runs through both valleys in Viksdalen. It is truly an experience to follow the watercourse from the mountain and out into Viksdalsvatnet.

Our property extends into Lauvavatnet and here it is possible to fish, borrow a boat, kayaks or canoes. We call the area by the lake the "outdoor area" and here we have a Gamme that is suitable for medium-sized teams. Here there are dining areas for up to 40 people around a fireplace. Outside there is a log building where it is possible to rest or cook on a fire. We have a fire pan, barrel grill and possibly a gas grill available for our guests.

From September to June, we have dairy production on the farm and it is possible to participate in the barn maintenance at 15 pm on request.

Our farm and outdoor recreation area are well suited as a camp site for 4H clubs or scout groups. Contact us for a quote.
