Sylte Hotell is a historic hotel that first opened its doors in 1874.
Between the 1870s and 1960s, Englishmen came here to fish for salmon in our beautiful surroundings. In addition to these so-called "salmon orders", royalty and several other big names have also visited our hotel.
When you stay with us you will feel like you have traveled back in time, but with full modern comfort. In our reception you will find an almost 100-year-old mural and in the living room you will find the king's table.
Our hotel is located in the center of Valldal, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, a swimming area, kayak rentals and, not least, a stone's throw from great mountain hikes.
