We cultivate good taste. We believe that food should taste good, look good – and it should be fun and meaningful to cultivate it.
Storstova is located in the hamlet of Valldalen, five kilometers from the village center by the Norddalsfjorden. The farm is located in a former cluster farm on a moraine terrace from the Ice Age. People have cultivated the land here for over a thousand years. We grow strawberries and potatoes, and have a colorful variety of vegetables and herbs in the kitchen garden.
In the summer of 2022, we made the first trial production of stirred strawberries in our new production kitchen. Stirred strawberries are the best we know, and we only use the very best strawberries for this. We freeze the stirred strawberries at once - and can offer the fresh, good taste of summer all year round.
When the new potatoes are ready and the strawberries are ripening, we open the farm sale in the garage in the yard. Here you will find the goodies that are in season. When autumn comes, we move the sale of potatoes, carrots and root vegetables to the cold storage on the farm – so it is always possible to do a short shopping trip with us.
