In 2022, Stolt Mat received HANEN's diploma with honorable mention in the competition "NORWAY'S BEST FARM SHOP".
Stolt Mat butikk is a cozy little local food shop where we sell locally sourced food from small-scale producers, from Møre og Romsdal. Stolt Mat also has a café with three rooms, each in its own style. Here you can sit in a relaxed atmosphere, read a book or meet friends and enjoy homemade cake and food made with products from the shop. Just like the food, all recycled furniture is locally sourced, from M&R. Stolt Mat can be found in the center of Sjøholt, along the main road, halfway between Ålesund and Molde.
In the store you will find juniper-raised salmon/trout, clipfish, goat and deer meat, sausages, tenderloin, cheeses, eggs, honey, chocolate, juices, jams, salt, spices, lefse, biscuits, coffee, tea, flatbread, flour products, and much more!
The café has a lot of good stuff on the menu: Norwegian tapas, various wraps, sandwiches. Sometimes they also serve a "Daily Special". They use as many products from the store as possible!
