Skogheim farm is located between the fjord and the mountains in Nordmøre.
The apples used for Fjordsider are grown in an optimal climate.

Fruit trees have been planted at the Skogheim farm in Aure since the 1940s. When Bjørn Torsetnes inherited the farm, he and business partner June Vestavik saw the opportunity to develop a unique product based on the old traditions of the farm. It was not long before the first tree was planted and “Fjordsider” was established. The two have now planted 9,000 apple trees on the 20-acre property as well as additional land nearby.
The landscape at Skogheim farm is suitable for fruit growing, and the climate in Northwest Norway ensures a long ripening time – this gives the apples a good and full taste. We use the apple varieties Aroma, Gravenstein and Discovery to create the good taste of "Fjordsider". Trees are planted and apples are picked by hand, before they are pressed, blended and bottled for our Fjordsider varieties in the new production hall in Aure.
We also accept groups by reservation for cider tasting, lectures, tours of the production hall and apple orchard. We have both a serving license, a pouring license and a sales license. Please book at fjordsider.com, post@sider.as or by phone 97169600
