Welcome to Refsnes Matglede, we are a small business located right next to the ferry terminal at Refsnes in Kvæfjord municipality. Here you will find an outdoor café in our garden in the summer, but we are also open all Advent Sundays, Easter and other holidays, when the weather in the north allows it. We have a unique farm shop and you can enjoy delicious cakes, today's lunch or buy products that we make from scratch. You can sit right by the sea and watch the ferry come and go. For our youngest guests we have a small playground and the dog Hermann takes the welcome and receptionist job seriously and greets everyone who comes.
At Refsnes, we, Susanne and Thomas, have built up the small business over several years. We now have our own production kitchen, a mini-smokehouse and an outdoor bakery. On summer days from June to August you can visit us at the outdoor café in our own garden as well as a small farm shop. We offer unique taste experiences made from local ingredients, and all products are made from scratch, and as far as possible without preservatives. You can choose from jam, bread and cake, several different types of cured meats and homemade grilled sausages. We also provide catering for all occasions, most often in collaboration with Visit Harstad for unique experiences in the local area. Here too, everything we serve is home-produced.
