Welcome to Øvregård
With us you will find, perhaps, Norway's best homemade flatbread. This is a flatbread that is rolled by hand and has a unique taste. In the middle of our yard is our general store & cafe. We are open Friday and Sunday from 13 -18, and open by appointment. We have specialized in sourdough bread and sourdough pizza, which you can buy in our shop. Pizza is only served on Sundays. We also have "Gamle låven" which is where there are some events. Our farm is located in Imsland which is a small village in the inner part of Vindafjord. We are surrounded by fjord, mountains and beautiful nature, with many beautiful hiking trails. We have a "Dropp inn" mobile home camp with swimming/fishing spots and a rowboat available if you want to go on a trip on Ølmedalsvatnet.

OVERGROUND

Opening hours: Friday and Sunday 13-18pm. Open by appointment.

The farm Øvregård has been in the family since around 1895. There are several cultural monuments and excavations that show that there have been people here since the Stone Age. There are finds from the Iron Age that have been excavated at Hushaug, which is located close to Gamlelåven.

There are several buildings on the farm:

Bakstehuset: Which has now become Lanhandel & cafe has become the heart of the yard. This is where flatbread is produced in the old-fashioned way as well as other baked goods. We deliver to several stores. We get good feedback, which stimulates us to expand production. We have plans to start with milk processing. Then: butter, butter and sour milk.

Game barn: Rented by appointment. We keep the barn open during events that take place here on the farm.

Otherwise, we have rabbits, the cat Mons and fish in the garden, as well as lots of seating around the yard :) Welcome to the farm!
