Welcome to Morellgården in Brunlanes – a gem in Larvik, Vestfold. You will find us about 1,5 hours from Oslo, and only half an hour from Sandefjord Airport Torp.
Morellgården is the perfect place for those who want to relax and enjoy a few quiet days. The farm consists of three charming guesthouses, each with its own unique character. Whether you choose the cozy, traditional house or one of the more modern and stylish options, the peaceful atmosphere will give you the opportunity to relax from the stress of everyday life, and truly enjoy life in the countryside.
When you are not relaxing at Morellgården, you can explore the nearby summer resorts. Stavern, with its beautiful archipelago and charming wooden houses, is a popular destination for both swimming and cultural experiences. Foldvik Family Park is also located here, an eldorado for families with young children who want to have fun and play! Between Stavern and Helgeroa runs the coastal path - a fantastic hiking experience of 35 km that takes you on a marked coastal path along rocky cliffs, sandy beaches, shallow coves and various types of forest. Helgeroa is also a great starting point for sightseeing in the Langesundfjord with the Helgeroa ferries. Perhaps you want to hop off at one of the islands in the archipelago and spend a whole day out there, or spend a day in Langesund? Nevlunghavn is also a good alternative - a small fishing village that has managed to preserve its original character.
Whether you want to explore the nearby summer resorts, or just want to relax and enjoy the tranquility of Morellgården, you will have an unforgettable experience in Brunlanes!
The three guesthouses
The barn is idyllically located in the middle of the farmyard and overlooks a large and lush garden. Here, children can frolic and explore the lush garden that serves as a natural playground. Inside the barn, up to 4 people can sleep comfortably, and the cozy and spacious loft is a favorite among many families with children!
The barn is a large room with great decor. Here you can relax in front of a large, open fireplace in a lovely seating area. With a rustic and well-equipped kitchen, you have every opportunity to self-cater and enjoy good meals with family and friends. In fact, the long table has room for 14 people! This makes the barn the perfect place to gather for a nice dinner or celebration.
Right outside the barn there is also a barbecue area with a fire pit.
The Bryggerhuset at Morellgården has room for up to 8 people, ideal for a group of friends or a family on a trip. This charming house combines traditional details from Brunlanes' past with updated facilities that give the house a new and modern feel.
In the house you will find a kitchen with a large dining table, and a fireplace that can be enjoyed from both the dining table and the living room. In a screened-off part of the living room there is also a custom-built "priest's bed" that brings a sense of tradition to the house's atmosphere. In addition, there are two lofts with extra sleeping space for guests. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet and shower/bathtub.
Guests also have access to a sheltered back garden with comfortable outdoor furniture.
Smia is secluded on the property and is the perfect place for a romantic getaway for two. This studio has a cozy living room with a combined kitchen and sleeping area. In addition, Smia has a separate bathroom with a sauna and a unique Roman bath that provides a true spa experience!
Other things worth noting
Out of consideration for other guests, parties are not allowed unless agreed in advance – but it is possible to rent all three rental units in the yard. In total, we have beds for 14 people.
