Welcome to Martnadssletta! The farm was originally a marketplace from the Viking Age, where people met for trade, socializing and competition. Grete and Olav Magne Johansen took over the baton in 2017 and are now breeding deer. Our deer farm is home to majestic deer. The animals have 5 enclosures totaling 220 acres at their disposal. Here they live in a natural environment, which consists of both forest and lush fields. We invite you to come and get to know our trusting animals. Here you can pet, observe and learn about the fascinating lives of the deer.

Martnadssletta carries the stories of the old days, when the Vikings traded here and created a vibrant community. This rich history has shaped the farm into what it is today, a place where old traditions meet modern sustainability.
