Our farm is located along the Storfjord, midway between Stamsund and Leknes, in an old cultural landscape.

The sheep on the farm are Old Norwegian sheep. These are small, light sheep with a two-part wool coat; here we find both warm, thin wool fibers next to the skin and long, coarser guard hairs that protect the sheep from wind and weather. Together, this creates a yarn that provides both durability and warmth. The ewes grow slowly. They have two lambs each spring and are outside pretty much all year round. They can go into the barn whenever they want.

Welcome to our farm shop with exclusive local wool products, in the middle of Lofoten!

Welcome to our farm shop with exclusive local wool products, in the middle of Lofoten! We produce wool from happy sheep, and in our workshop we plant dye the yarn and design knitting patterns. The renovated old barn is located between fjord and mountain, on the road between Leknes and Stamsund. We sell our own yarn, ready-made hand-knitted sweaters, knitting packages, hats, mittens and woven products such as scarves, shawls and blankets. We have Old Norwegian sheep, and you can see some of them on the farm.
