Lingebakken is a fruit and cider farm in Linge in central Sunnmøre. Fruit and berries have been grown here for generations. We now grow organic apples, pears and plums, conventional morels and a few sour cherries, and make cider and must based on our own organic ingredients. We welcome groups for cider tastings by appointment.
Lingebakken is the outermost farm in the hamlet of Linge in Valldal. There are few places further north in the world with commercial fruit growing. Because of the Gulf Stream and the mild climate in this south-facing hamlet, the conditions are perfect for fruit right here. Our farm sale is open pretty much every day between July and October, as long as we have something to sell. In addition to apple juice and cider, we have more cherries in July, plums start in August, and apples and pears in September–October. The rest of the year is self-service with apple juice and cider available by appointment. Just contact Elida and most things can be arranged.
