We are Lise and Tor Arne Hagen, and we run Liangård in Nærøysund in Trøndelag.
Through Lian farm shop we want to create a close connection between the farm and the consumer. Here we offer meat from our own animals, produced with a focus on quality, animal welfare and known origin.
Our philosophy is simple: Animals first. Good raw materials, good animal welfare and honest products are the foundation of everything we do. At the same time, we are committed to highlighting other small producers who share our values. That's why you will also find products from several local and Norwegian food producers in the store.
Opening hours: Thursday: 2:00 PM–7:00 PM, Sunday: 12:00 PM–4:30 PM
Otherwise open by appointment

Although neither of us grew up on a farm, we both found our way into agriculture through interest, work and a strong commitment to animals and food production. Over the years, our experience has grown, and in October 2024 we purchased Liangård on the open market and moved to Nærøysund to fully focus on what we are passionate about.

Today we operate a dairy and cattle production with around 200 animals, divided between NRF and Simmental. We have around 850 acres of cultivated land, in addition to pasture and forest areas. Animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do. We place great emphasis on good forage, access to pasture, clean water, good minerals and close monitoring of the animals throughout their lives. We believe that good raw materials start with healthy and well-functioning animals. At the same time, we are committed to promoting other small producers who share our values.

The farm shop also carries products from several local and Norwegian food producers. We carry spices from Chef Ivar, cheese from Toddum gårdsysteri, chocolate from Iselins Sjokolade, fudge from Smaken av Lykke, honey from Vangsfjord and pizza crusts from Vinje.

We are also proud to sell eggs from a local producer at Hofles. At the age of 13, Erlend Sandnes started his own small chicken farm, and today he delivers eggs to our farm shop. For us, local food is also about supporting the next generation of food producers.

In addition, we offer a selection of gift and interior items that fit into the rural and traditional atmosphere we want to create. The assortment is constantly evolving, and we are always looking for new products that can give customers great taste experiences and a little extra inspiration.

We believe in openness about Norwegian food production and are happy to share everyday life from the farm through social media. There you can follow life among cows, calves, grazing, barn work and everything that comes with running a farm in the modern era.
