Lauklines is idyllically situated in the middle of Kattfjorden with Lauklinesøya in the foreground, 30 minutes drive from Tromsø airport. It is a personal, welcoming and accommodating resort and base for those seeking an active holiday experience outside the city, or just want to relax in quiet and scenic surroundings. Here you can truly enjoy pure nature with personal hospitality and service!

Experience mountain hiking, deep-sea fishing, midnight sun, northern lights hunting, dog sledding, kayaking, fjord cruises in the summer, ski touring, cycling along low-traffic roads or how about a buggy trip for the whole family, just to name a few.

Hanna and Andreas, together with their family and staff, have developed Lauklines into a well-regarded holiday centre. The trading post was established in 1920 as a fish reception centre with a general store and has been operated as a holiday centre since 1999.

Accommodation is offered in 3 standard and 3 premium rorbu (cabins) located right on the water's edge. The rorbu are fully equipped for up to 6 people. You do not share the rorbu with others, so the price for the rorbu per night is according to how many people there are.

Transportation to and from the airport or Tromsø can be offered.

Accommodation

High standard Rorbu 100m2 (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room. All rorbu have AC and the premium rorbu also have underfloor heating on the 1st floor.

mountain hiking

Lauklines is located in an eldorado of beautiful mountain areas that invite climbing. Several beautiful islands in the ocean gap that are also nice to walk on. We cooperate with guides in the area who offer guided tours.

Hunting

Lauklines is located in the middle of an exclusive hunting ground for grouse and other game.

Bird watching

Kattfjord is an excellent area for birdwatching. Lauklinesøya, which is located just in the foreground, is protected as a bird sanctuary from May to August. There is therefore a bustling birdlife in the area, with white-tailed eagles as neighbors.

Family vacation

The facility is well-suited for family vacations. Let the kids experience nature up close. Boating, fishing, mountain and island tours, rock and shell picking, discovery walks on the shore and only 30 minutes to Tromsø to experience some city life.
