Kollerud gård

At Kollerud Farm we grow raspberries without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilizers and we pick to order. The season is in weeks 28-32. We process raspberries, gooseberries, currants, blackcurrants, rhubarb and wild berries into juice, jam and have a small farm outlet with these products in addition to crafts.

We also accept farm visits by appointment all year round. Many families want close contact with animals and that is what you get with us. We have small facilities so that everyone can join in with the animals and be involved in the daily care and cuddles. We have social animals, which we see thrive on visitors and they can retreat when they want. We have horses, goats, pigs, chickens, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs.

In the Shepherd's Cabin, up to 4 people can book accommodation and experience real farm life with grazing animals as their closest neighbors. The cabin has the option of simple self-catering, but we are happy to serve dinner to guests. A new bathroom from 2025 is available in the barn next door.

The farm is located 200 meters from Lake Hemnessjøen with its precious crayfish stocks and during the crayfish season in August/September we offer crayfish safaris. Lake Hemnessjøen also houses Kollerudvika wetland reserve which is home to a number of red-listed bird species. During the spring and autumn migration we have many bird enthusiasts stopping by to watch birds.

Kollerud is an approved Inn-på-tunet farm and has organized activities for children and young people that are advertised on our Facebook page.
