Versatile guesthouse in the heart of Namdalen. A place for great fishing and nature experiences, as well as authentic food experiences. We arrange for meetings, courses, parties and holidays.
Grenda Jørem is located in Grong municipality. You will find us along Sørsiveien, 7 kilometers from the E6 and 40 kilometers from Namsos. Surrounded by the famous salmon river Namsen, and within walking distance of great hunting and hiking areas in the forest and mountains. We offer accommodation with or without meals in two cozy houses in the yard, and in At the bakery we serve pizza from a wood-fired stone oven. The farm grows organic, indigenous grain, and in a converted barn there is a craft brewery, a grain mill, and a small bakery with a farm outlet. We bake with flour from our own grain, of course. I The forest along the Namsen River is home to free-range pigs during the summer. They are turned into delicious ham, salami and other products that we both sell and use in our own catering.
We rent out salmon fishing in Namsen, and at the neighboring farm you can take part in riding courses and riding camps. We are also lucky enough to rent out some land for a market garden, which supplies both us and customers with delicious vegetables.
