A guesthouse in secluded surroundings on the edge of the wilderness that offers friendly, attentive hosts, exciting dining experiences based on local traditions, and comfortable rooms with soul.

Heddan Gard is a culturally historical guest farm in a beautiful natural landscape in the southern Norwegian mountains, 40 km from the weather-beaten southern coastline. Valleys and hills, mountains and knolls, streams and ponds surround the guest farm. Heddan Gard, with its location, lays the foundation for an exciting stay, a place to retreat to, but is also centrally located with a short distance to cities and towns, and easy to reach by car, plane and train. Nature is open all year round at Heddan Gard, whether on foot, by bike or on skis. With an emphasis on culture, both with regard to landscape, buildings and meals, memorable experiences are easily accessible. 25 km of paths take you through the landscape and water and waterways offer good trout fishing. A meal in the farm's restaurant based on local traditions and ingredients is an experience with a taste straight from nature. We have charming old buildings with modern comfort in a pleasant environment. We offer cabins for self-catering and rooms with breakfast and half board.
