Grenske Søndre Nes is an approximately 100-acre apple farm located on the outskirts of Nesodden near Gvarv in Telemark. Here you can come and stay in the newly renovated barn (Max 3 adults). Here is a beautiful cultural landscape with apple blossoms and apple harvest. At the homestead you can barbecue, swim, row and fish. You can cycle in Sommarlandet and to Lifjell.

The farm is strategically located on a ridge about 75 meters above Norsjø, close to Nes Church. Here is a thousand-year-old cultural landscape with fruit growing and other agriculture. Here is Nes Church and many burial mounds. The property extends down to Norsjø (1 km) where there is an old homestead about 5 acres in size that is now a flower meadow and barbecue and tent area. Here is a shoreline with an old fishing right. Here you can sunbathe, swim, and row out and set fishing nets for whitefish, char, perch, etc.

You stay in the newly renovated barn (see website) preferably on a weekly basis (from Saturday to Saturday), although other times can be discussed. You bring your own bed linen and towels, and you prepare your own food in the kitchenette. Grocery stores in Gvarv – 3 km away.

You can stroll between the apple trees (approx. 15.000) in the spring when they are in bloom (approx. 10/5-5/6), or in the autumn when the apples are red (approx. 20/8-10/10). We now also have approx. 30 organic production (Discovery). The nature is otherwise diverse and offers exciting hiking opportunities. You can borrow bicycles and cycle in Sommarlandet – to Akkerhaugen, Gvav and Bø. By car you will be able to reach all other attractions that Midt-Telemark has to offer.
