Gammellåven is located in Årvågsfjorden in Aure municipality, only 3 km from the renowned Brekka viewpoint along the county road between Kristiansund and Trondheim. Here you will find locally sourced meat products from the farm attached to the barn and handicrafts by Kari Goa as well as local small-scale products. In the cafeteria you can buy ice cream, coffee and cakes, sausage with bread and sour cream porridge and on weekends we offer a slightly expanded dinner menu.
At the very heart of Årvågsfjorden lies the barn attached to the farm, which is currently run by Kari and Arve Johan Goa. The farm is in full operation with dairy cows, sheep, goats and chickens. In the summer you will be greeted by beloved lambs, goats and calves. Here you will Gain insight into Norwegian agriculture as it is today and inside the barn there are various old tools on display that provide an insight into how agriculture was run in the past.
In the store you will find items for every taste. Popular items are sheepskin products from our own sheep, knitted wool socks and mittens, honey, salmon, clipfish and salt and more.
The barn is also used as a venue for rent for baptisms, family reunions, confirmations and weddings, as well as courses and conferences. The venue is equipped with a commercial kitchen and everything you need to hold a party for up to 100 people. We have full rights in the bar.

Opening hours
We are open every weekend from St. Hans and all of July. The rest of the year we are open on special occasions such as Christmas, Easter etc. as well as some weekends.
Opening hours this summer will be 13:00 - 17:00.
