Frøya Market Garden locally produces vegetables, summer flowers and perennials in a sustainable way.
A market garden is about diversity and proximity. It is grown on a small scale, but in many varieties throughout the season. It provides both variety, taste and the joy of knowing where the food comes from.
We grow our plants in the nursery and outdoors, and everything is sold in our farm shop in the nursery at Sistranda.
The season determines what's in the fridge.
Lettuce, spring onions, leeks, kohlrabi, cauliflower, pointed cabbage, kale, turnips, carrots, edible flowers, yellow and red onions, potatoes and beets are some of what we have.
Out in the field, we can harvest what the customer wants. It doesn't get any fresher or healthier.
We also have interior items, indoor plants, perennials, summer flowers, herbs, etc.
We also make planting arrangements and wreaths to order.
Our outdoor store offers trees, fruit trees, ornamental shrubs and berry bushes, soil, fertilizer, etc.
Our beautiful hanging baskets, filled with lush summer flowers, are very popular.
