There have been people here since 1594 - we run the farm in partnership with nature so that it can continue. Organic, regenerative and radically traditional!

In 2021 we moved into Finnerud – the farm had been empty for several years and there had been no operations here since the 1960s. We had a desire to rebuild the farm, on nature's terms. Barns were built, new meadows were sown, chickens were hatched, pastures were cleared and small-scale vegetable production was established. All productions were to contribute to a larger whole; the cows would make compost for the market garden, the sorted vegetables would be used as animal feed and every little spot on the farm would be utilized. A network of productions today contributes to a sustainable whole and profitability for us, rooted in good soil – everything comes from, and is made of, soil and we want to take care of it.
