Dyrsku'n is Norway's most important meeting place for food and agriculture, trade, political debates, lectures and authentic experiences.

The diverse fair with its long traditions is the place for many unique and fruitful meetings between tradition and innovation, entrepreneurs and established companies, and between city and country. In these meetings, knowledge and pride about Norwegian traditions and Norwegian rural culture are created, as well as innovation and entrepreneurial activity.

The dairy farm was established by the state in 1866 as part of a national strategy to increase food supplies in Norway, and the Telemark cow is itself the symbol of the dairy farm in Seljord.

Trade, culture, crafts, food and agriculture are central to Dyrsku'n.

For over 150 years, people have been making pilgrimages from all over the country to the traditional Fesjåplassen in Seljord to feel the unique atmosphere and experience the cultural bearer and folk festival Dyrsku'n. Here you will find an exhibition and judging of animals, a cultural program with local and national actors, handicraft and craft exhibitions, a historical presentation of agriculture, while innovation also plays a central role in the event.
