Delbekk husmannsplass is a homestead from 1734. Delbekk Husmannsplass is beautifully situated in the cultural landscape of Vormadalen. Vormadalen has been selected by the Norwegian Ministry of Cultural Heritage as a landscape of high national value. Here you can read the homesteads' location in a symbiosis with the large farms located along the Vorma. Voramdalen is also known as a village with many cultural events.

When we took over the site in 2019, it had been deserted for the next 40 years. We have renovated the house according to traditional principles and in the process we have held courses with the desire to share the knowledge we have acquired. At the same time as we have restored the house and the site from decay to its former glory, we have converted the agriculture to fruit and berry growing. We want to show that it is viable to live on less land as long as you think creatively. We are happy to share our experiences and what we have learned.

We have now grown apples, blackcurrants, currants and rhubarb, which we process. From the raw materials we produce juices, mulled wine, jams, jellies, musts and high-quality baked goods.
