Bygland Brewery from Setesdal brews award-winning traditional beers with Norwegian kveik, craft sodas with local berries – and is Scandinavia's only producer of sake.

Bygland Bryggeri is located in the deep valleys of Setesdal, where we combine Norwegian traditions with modern craftsmanship. The brewery is particularly known for traditional beers brewed with kveik and inspired by old Norwegian farm traditions, but also produces modern beer styles, non-alcoholic craft sodas and sake under the brand name Rannei – Craft Sake of Norway.

We are Scandinavia's only sake producer, using Japanese koji and rice together with pure spring water from Ose and Norwegian kveik. The result is a completely unique drinking experience where Norwegian nature and Japanese fermentation tradition meet.

We also make artisanal soft drinks with fresh berries and natural flavors. Our products are served both locally and in restaurants and bars at home and abroad. Through history, culture and genuine craftsmanship, we want to highlight the taste of Setesdal in every bottle and can.
