Bryn Gardsmeieri is located in the hamlet of Flendalen, north of Trysil municipality. Here, cheese is produced from all the milk our goats give during the year. We make several types of white cheese and brown goat cheese.
We raise kids and those kids that are not going to go with the herd to the setra, go out on inland pasture all summer and are slaughtered in September. The products we offer are raw and frozen shoulder and thigh, bacon, and pork loin.
Has a small farm outlet, which is open with self-service every day from 12-20pm.
If you live a distance away, we can also send cheese by post. Orders can be made on the website www.brynost.no.
The goats live at Rømonysetra in Bittermarka and graze on fresh mountain grass all summer.
We also offer accommodation in a cozy cabin on our farm. There are four beds and everything you would need for your stay.
