Brennevinsgrova is a microdistillery that produces Gin, Akevitt and Whisky, the distillery was started and run by Harald Strømmegjerde. He is the 4th generation on the small farm Lillebø in Straumgjerde.
The small distillery is located at the end of the Sykkylvsfjorden and is surrounded by the mountains called the Sunnmørsalpane. The water for the distillery comes from the Ljøsabreen glacier, which is said to be more than 3000 years old.
In addition to the distillery, there are opportunities for tours and tastings from production, as well as the farm's cured sausage called mør, which is made from a recipe that goes back 4 generations.

The idea behind the production of the different products is to present the taste of Sunnmøre, so we try to use as many local ingredients as possible such as; rowan berries, birch leaves, nettles, juniper berries, blueberries, lingonberries, chervil, rhubarb, leeks, etc.
