Brekkeseter is located at the top of the Høvringen farm area, bordering Rondane National Park. Brekkeseter consists of a small hotel and 17 rental units that are old restored farm buildings, barns, stables and barns. In the hotel's restaurant, Rondane Spisestue, we serve dishes based on ingredients from our nature.

Brekkeseter is located at the top of the Høvringen farm area bordering Rondane National Park. Brekkeseter consists of a small hotel and 17 rental units that are old restored farm houses, cages, barns and sheds. The hotel has dining rooms, cozy fireplace rooms, a great wellness area and a TV lounge/activity room. In our restaurant Rondane Spisestue we serve food based on local ingredients and a lot of it is produced from scratch in our kitchen. Bread, cakes, jams, juices, meats and fish are processed. Fruit, herbs and greens are bought fresh. We have a fixed daily menu and an a la carte menu. We also welcome parties, courses and conferences outside the summer/autumn season and winter season.
The cabins are all well-equipped with kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms with soapstone fireplaces. The style is rustic and authentic, but the standard is comfortable and pleasant.

Brekkeseter is located in an area suitable for hiking in both summer, autumn and winter. There are signposted paths/trails with good maps. Approximately 160 km of groomed ski tracks in winter up to 1300 m above sea level.

In addition to hiking, it is nice to cycle, fish and ride. We rent GPS for hiking and tours can be loaded onto your own GPS. The area has a rich bird life.
