Fjordgløtt is a little gem in Eina, a beautiful village in Vestre Toten municipality. What is served at Fjordgløtt is made from scratch, from soups to cakes. We make the dough the night before, for pizza, bread, burger bread, cinnamon rolls and other baked goods. There are no shortcuts here, just real craftsmanship to get the right taste.
The story behind this popular meeting place began when Kristin Blien and Caroline Boertmann decided to join forces to realize their shared dream of creating a unique and enjoyable café experience. Fjordgløtt is run by Kristin Blien and Caroline Boertmann, together with their partner (Tommy Berglind) and husband (Arild Bøe) who step in when needed.
Kristin Blien has always had a great interest in food, and this interest has been present since she was a young girl. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition from Leeds Beckett University and believes that good food should not only taste good, but also be good for the body.
Caroline Boertmann is another driving force behind Fjordgløtt Kafe og Landhandel. She runs an organic farm in Eina, where she has Dexter cows, pigs and chickens. Caroline places great emphasis on doing things properly, and using traditional ingredients in the food she makes. It is the animals from the farm that are used in the food, and she believes that using local ingredients gives a unique and authentic taste.
Fjordgløtt Kafe og Landhandel has become a huge success thanks to Kristin and Caroline's passion for food and their desire to create a unique experience for visitors. Their use of local, organic ingredients and focus on traditional cuisine has made the cafe a popular destination for food lovers and tourists who want to experience the best of Norwegian food culture.
Toten's best pizza (OA tester) is always on the menu, the rest of the dishes are decided by Kristin and Caroline based on seasonal ingredients, inspiration and creativity. In addition, you will find a small general store filled with local food products, ice cream, organic meat and a selection of coffee and tea.
In February 2023, the pizza was voted Toten's best pizza, and received 2nd place in the entire Gjøvik region.
The group has grown from 4 to 11, together we will ensure that everyone has a good experience with us.
Welcome to Fjordgløtt!
