BERRIES - BAKERY - ACCOMMODATION
Bjørklund Farm is located in the beautiful and active volunteer village of Strøksnes in Sørfold municipality. The farm faces south with views of the fjord and Sjunkhatten National Park.
Welcome to a unique accommodation in our domes - here you can fall asleep to the sound of the river and wake up to birdsong. The domes are furnished with good beds and warm bedding and can accommodate four people. They can be rented throughout the year.
We grow raspberries and strawberries in the open field - north of the Arctic Circle. You are welcome to pick your own berries during the season. You can also buy ready-picked berries from the farm.
From the wood-fired oven in the barn we can offer fresh baked goods during the summer season. We also produce juice and jelly from our own fields which you can buy from our farm shop.

Accommodation in our Domes
The domain is set up just above the raspberry field with a view of the fjord and Sjunkhatten National Park. If you stay here during the berry season, you can stroll down to the field and pick berries from the bush into your mouth. Maybe you can taste the difference in taste of Arctic berries compared to berries grown in the south?
From the bed you can see the sky, and in the winter you can see stars, the moon and lots of beautiful winter lights and northern lights.
The Domene is furnished with two single beds and a king-size double bed. There is no electricity here – a wood stove creates a cozy atmosphere and good heat. The barn is located about 75 meters from the Domene, and here there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, shower and toilet. Homemade breakfast is included and served in the barn.
We also have a beautiful garden room that our guests can use. Here there is a wood-burning stove with water-borne floor heating. It is furnished with a sofa corner and dining table. It has become a cozy living room for days with bad weather and cold winter days.
Self-picking strawberries and raspberries
We grow raspberries and strawberries under arctic conditions – with lots of light and little heat. Picking berries yourself is a pleasant and nutritious activity and experience for the whole family, young and old. Both the strawberry field and the raspberry field are accessible with both strollers and walkers/wheelchairs. Please bring your own packaging.
The start of the season varies from year to year – and we post on our Facebook page when we start self-picking.
Farm shop and café
The barn has been converted – the woodshed has become a kitchen and the silo is used as a wood-fired bakery oven. Where cows and sheep used to stand in the stall, you can now be served freshly baked cinnamon rolls and bread. We will post on Facebook when the café is open and we have fresh baked goods.
Group visit
We also welcome groups who want a day trip to Bjørklund Gård. The maximum number of people in the group is 40. Here we can offer a delicious homemade lunch served in the barn, a tour and a story about the farm's history. During the berry season, there is the possibility of picking your own berries or buying pre-picked berries.
