Bergsjøstølen mountain lodge at 1100 meters above sea level in Hallingdal, midway between Oslo and Bergen. Here you get hotel-like comfort with a mountain lodge atmosphere.

Favorites are: cycling on suitable mountain roads to Fagerdalen Støl to eat Anne Lise's homemade sour cream porridge. You can also ride Icelandic horses or try your luck fishing from a rowboat or canoe on Bergsjøen. We have good bicycles, canoes, kayaks and boats for rent.

Kåre Berg welcomes you to the high mountains as the Berg family has done for several generations. With us you can take a break from everyday life in fresh high mountain air with a relaxed pulse in quiet surroundings. In the fireplace lodge you can read a good book or enjoy good conversation with your travel companions, accompanied by 180 degree views of the beautiful mountain landscape.

# In winter you can ski on well-groomed ski slopes, snow-kiting right outside your door, go snowshoeing or try your hand at dog sledding.

We have 30 guest rooms and we welcome you to a mountain lodge atmosphere with hotel comfort.
