At Bergsdalstunet we invite you to authentic and memorable food experiences – here we gather small and large groups for celebrations, parties and weddings in the middle of nature. In the unique 1800th-century Gamlefloren, we serve locally sourced food with roots in the mountains and tradition. Here you get veal from our own farm and lamb from the neighboring farms Fosse and Rødland, prepared with care and local ingredients. Bergsdalstunet – a living farm in the heart of Bergsdalen
Bergsdalstunet is a living farm where traditions and farming go hand in hand with good experiences. There is always activity on the farm, and animal husbandry is central to the operation. The son Erling has now taken over the farm itself, while Olaug and Helge Terje continue to host the farm.
The old barn has been a central part of the farm for generations. In the past, cows, pigs, sheep and chickens lived here in the winter, before being released to graze in the spring and summer pastures in the lush areas around Bergsdalen. Today, the old barn is a space where history meets modernity, and every stone in the wall carries a piece of the farm's proud past.
Throughout the year we also participate in local markets, fairs and in the REKO-ringen Stanghelle, so that more people can taste the best of Bergsdalen. We also collaborate with local teams and organizations to create events such as Fiskefest, Smalahovefest and other traditional gatherings.
