In the middle of the lush cultural landscape of Kjerknesvågen in Inderøy, and with a view of the Beitstadfjord, lies Berg Gård. Most of what is grown in the fields grows wild, and what is produced from our livestock is processed and sold at the farm. Welcome to us!
Sheep and free-range pigs are raised here, and the farm houses its own slaughterhouse, farm kitchen, restaurant, farm shop, distillery and brewery. In the farm shop you will find a wide selection of tasty products – both food and drink. We offer, among other things, cured meats and other meats from our own production, products from 64 Grader Nord, beer from Inderøy Brygghus and aquavit glasses from Inderøy Brenneri. In addition, we have a good selection of gourmet products and local food from skilled producers in the region. During the summer season (June 15-August 15 in 2026) we also have a summer café with simple meals connected to the farm shop. The Slakteriloftet restaurant is open by appointment all year round, and can offer dishes based on the farm's resources.
At Berg Gård you will find Inderøy Brenneri - a small but ambitious distillery. Inderøy Brenneri was established in 2015, and resumed aquavit production on Inderøy after 116 years. The main spice in all aquavits is the farm's own caraway, supplemented with flavorings taken from the rich flora around the farm. Would you like to join the aquavit farmer in the barrel warehouse and hear more about the production and the history behind it? Contact us to arrange an aquavit tasting, which can be combined with food served on the farm.
Inderøy 64 degrees north is the farm's own brand. With the growing season getting longer, new opportunities have opened up, and Berg Gård is today the world's northernmost producer of both rapeseed and mustard. After threshing, the seeds are dried and cleaned before being further processed. The rapeseed is cold-pressed into a golden rapeseed oil. The oil is rich in healthy omega-3 fatty acids, has a delicious nutty flavor with a hint of citrus, and is ideal for salads, marinades, soups and light frying. Berg Gård is the only one in Norway that grows mustard seeds. The yellow and brown seeds are used in various types of mustard. In addition to their own seeds, the various mustards are flavored with spices, honey and the farm's own aquavit.
