Rental of the unique party venue Kvernhuslåven and rural glamping. Enjoy rural surroundings at Belavollan in beautiful Surnadal – right between Trondheim and Mørebyene.

We offer rental of function rooms that are equally suitable for corporate events and meeting rooms as for weddings, confirmations and concerts.

We also offer accommodation in the form of glamping! Either in combination with an event, or separately. New for 2024 is a sauna, in addition to our existing hot tub.

Belavollan Gard is idyllically located in Surnadal. The main industry on the farm is meat and milk production. The farm also co-owns and operates two hydroelectric power plants that utilize the fall down Belalia. We also work with spreading and plowing snow locally in the hamlet.

The farm is run by the couple Anne Kari Indergård and Magne Sollid. The operators welcome visitors to a lush landscape with grazing animals and active hosts.

In recent years, an old threshing barn has been converted into a function room.

The barn was originally built in 1909, and it contained a mill, threshing barn, sawmill and a small 5 kW power plant. The total cost of the development in 1909 was NOK 801,-, according to the accounts found a few years ago. The building burned to the ground in the post-war years, but was rebuilt on the same site. The building is 22 meters long and 5 meters wide, and has two floors. The lower floor is now used as a tractor and carpentry workshop.

Floor 2 (the barn) has been converted into a party room, with a stage in the western part, and a bar in the eastern part. In addition, a small kitchen and entrance area with a disabled toilet have been built. The premises have fire safety approval, and are suitable for parties with up to 100 guests. For possible concerts, the venue has a legally permitted number of 150 guests.

The venue has so far been used for many different events, such as confirmations, weddings, birthdays, summer parties, quiz nights and company parties. We also welcome courses, conferences, lectures, christenings, memorial gatherings and more.

In the spring of 2020, we insulated the walls of the barn and installed two heat pumps. The roof has also been insulated since then.

We welcome new and old guests, and teams and companies to book the venue.
