Welcome to Beite, the farm shop in Hvam. The shop is located in scenic surroundings at Hvam High School in Nes, Akershus. With a short distance to the Old Hvam farm museum and 9-hole golf course.
A little about us:
The shop
In the Farm Shop you will find locally produced, locally sourced food and specialties from other parts of the country. Over 40 suppliers of exciting artisanal products and tasty food and drink products, in addition to the school's own fresh produce such as potatoes, vegetables, eggs and flowers.
We offer high quality local arts, crafts and handicrafts.
The cafe
In our café, Godt Beite, we can accommodate groups of up to 30 people for dining. Here you can enjoy a nice lunch with friends or colleagues, or sit down in peace and quiet with a cup of coffee and a piece of homemade cake. Advance booking for groups of more than 6 people.
The nursery
The nursery can offer fresh organic vegetables straight from the school's own fields from early autumn, as well as vegetables and potatoes for storage throughout the winter.
The greenhouses are full of summer flowers and vegetable plants from early May. We have great salads and fresh organic herbs throughout the year. Organic cucumbers and tomatoes from late October. For Christmas we have wreaths and garlands, as well as a selection of Christmas flowers that are sold through the Farm Shop.
