A warm welcome to our farm camping in natural surroundings. The farm building and the grass silo have been converted into rental apartments and event rooms. A small petting zoo and visits from wild animals provide an exciting experience for young and old. During the fishing season we sell fishing licenses, or you can take a dip in the river. Welcome to a special overnight stay, either in the barn or in the silo or field.

The history of the modern farm goes back to 1897 when the first house was built on the farm. A barn was also built, which is the building that stands today. In 1993, Eivind and Erna Urdal started the campsite after it was opened so that the wives of farms had the opportunity to create their own workplace on the farm. Over the next 20 years, the couple has created an idyllic campsite that offers party rooms and accommodation in historic premises that go hand in hand with modern and old style. After 20 years of operation, daughter, Birgitte and her husband Martin took over to continue building on a campsite that we are all proud of.

Recommend saying "hello" to the pigs, jumping on the trampoline, exploring forests and burial mounds or trying your luck at fishing. Our vision is to create a place to recharge your batteries and find peace in natural surroundings. We are passionate about hospitality, stories and local food. In the season we look forward to receiving goods from local producers. Welcome to our beautiful village and "The good life in Sokndal".
