Try staying at a fantastic organic fruit farm by the Sognefjord. We have 4 holiday homes and a campsite by the fjord - peaceful surroundings, spectacular views.
Amble Gård is located in the municipality of Sogndal, at the very heart of "Fjord Norway". We have 4 different holiday homes for rent. The holiday homes at Amble Gård are located in and around an old, venerable farmyard surrounded by an organic apple orchard and an organic meadow. All the houses have a fantastic view of the Sognefjord and you can put on your hiking boots and go straight into the forest and mountains.
The holiday homes were built between 1900 and 1937 and each has its own unique history. They have been restored in recent years, but have retained their distinctive character.
If you want to spend the night camping, we have a self-service campsite by the fjord, Amlasanden Fjordcamping.
At Amble Gård we operate in tourism, organic apples and hay, forestry and hunting. We have our own farm press and cider house. Here we make various varieties of organic non-alcoholic apple juice and cider with alcohol.
Amble Gård is an old, venerable farm that has been in the Heiberg family's possession since 1690.
Amble Gård is located near the Heibergske Collections / Sogn Folkemuseum, Sogn Fjordmuseum and Kaupanger Stave Church. It is a short distance to sights and attractions such as Urnes Stave Church (on the UNESCO World Heritage List), Borgund Stave Church, Flåm, Jostedalsbreen, Jotunheimen National Park and the Norwegian Glacier Museum in Fjærland.
